At Care With Kindness, we are proud to introduce our new mission statement, which reflects our commitment to providing compassionate, person-centred home care:

Acting as a guiding ‘North Star’, a mission statement defines an organisation’s core purpose, values, and direction. Ours reflects the principles that shape the care we provide every day and the standards we uphold for our clients, family, and staff team. Our team of carers have developed the wording to represent the values that guide everything we do and every word has a meaning!
Compassion
We believe care should always be centred around empathy, dignity, and – of course – kindness.
This belief has always been at the core of our service ever since we began in 2021, following the exceptional long-term care of a loved one. Inspired by the difference compassionate care can make, we recognised a need for high-quality, professional care in rural Devon that put the needs of the client first.
Exceptional team
We deliver the care we provide through our amazing team, all of whom are passionate about supporting others, and have come to care through having a calling. All recognise that the basis of effective support comes through compassion and kindness, underpinned by professionalism and training.
High-quality and professional care
We provide regular, ongoing training and development so our carers feel confident and fully-supported to deliver high-quality care. The launch of Care Training Devon in 2026 has provided a dedicated space to learn new skills and practice the latest care techniques in a supportive environment. Based at the Devon Business & Education Centre, the training hub also provides access to specialist training in areas such as hoist and mobility support, emergency response, and dementia awareness.
Rural Devon
Providing live-in and visiting home care in rural areas comes with unique challenges, from long travel distances on roads with potholes, to limited local services like pharmacies or public transport. As a result, these areas are often difficult to reach and underserved by larger care providers. However, we are proud to support our rural community and want to be able to support even more people with reliable, high-quality care in their own homes.
Supporting people to stay at home as part of the community
We know how important it can be for some people to remain independent and in the comfort of their own home. Home care can help people maintain their routines and continue being connected to their friends, family and their wider community whilst also reducing pressure on wider healthcare services.
